Welcome to the Creekside Park Master Plan Project

The City of University Place is launching a community-driven master planning process for Creekside Park, one of the city’s most ecologically rich and promising open spaces. Located along the Leach Creek corridor and adjacent to Woodside Pond Nature Park, Creekside Park has the potential to become University Place’s second largest park and a key link in the city’s growing green network.

This planning effort will explore ways to improve access, expand trail connections, protect sensitive habitat, and create meaningful spaces for recreation, education, and reflection. Through surveys, workshops, and on-site engagement, we are asking residents to help shape a shared vision that balances environmental stewardship with public use and enjoyment.

In addition to guiding the future of Creekside Park, the insights gathered through this process will also inform the upcoming update to the City’s Parks, Recreation, and Open Space (PROS) Plan. This will help ensure the park system reflects both citywide priorities and local opportunities.

We invite you to get involved, share your voice, and help bring this vision to life.
